Sep 21, 2012. #11. Points for Buildings. Points are given mattering on the building's age, space required, and if it's a premium, special, Great, or normal building. A basic way of find any normal building's (and all roads') points is multiply the age's points per space by the spaces the building takes:
Forge of Empires. Iron Age Military Units. There are five basic military classes of unit with characteristics that are similar in every age. To begin with in the Iron Age there are light soldiers, heavy soldiers, archers, cavalry and artillery. As you advance through the ages, these units will be modernised and equipped with better armour and
Civilizations in Greece began working with bronze before 3000 B.C., while the British Isles and China entered the Bronze Age much later—around 1900 B.C. and 1600 B.C., respectively.
The Spearfighter would do 5-7 damage. That means the average damage done for it would be 6. A slightly above average attack but it will survive it at full HP. Defense: Having less defense is not as terrible as it sounds since the damage is not 1:1. Speed: The units on each side with the most speed act first.
Hovers in Prog is next. You’ll need to look up a guide to be able to do either of those things. Camping in any age with same age units is about the same imo except for CE or FE. Those two ages have the easiest same fighting for that. EMA is probably the worst age to sit in because the horse archers are bad to fight.
Aug 6, 2012. #5. I'm way beyond the iron age now, and still use my archers, sometimes combined with ballistas as they cover most of the field from their starting spot, and are very effective against mounted archers/archers and the enemy's long-distance units. On the map I've just entered the late middle ages, and only now I need better troops too .
This would speed up your progress through the Bronze age where camping/squatting (staying in one age for a long time) isn't really recommended. Basic - Herewith a decent guide on how to best generate gold coins age by age, Forge of Empires Earning Gold Guide (authored by Surge). While it is a very old guide, I found it helpful especially for
Early Middle Ages. 58 Votes in Poll. 0. KingJMobile · 2/15/2022. Iron Age is probably the best long term camping age. 0. Capshort32 · 2/16/2022. I think Iron Age is better for camping only if you are a fighter and succeed in getting the two EMA units from the EMA bonus questline. Otherwise I'd prefer EMA.
DeletedUser96901. Sep 2, 2016. #4. goods (until late middle age) are needed for 4 ages in the tech tree. the age where they are produced and the following 3. and to build the 2 GB of that age (and bronze age goods also for the Observatory) if you have done that you don't need those goods anymore. later goods (colonial age) are also needed later
This is because every time you age up, two more Great Buildings are added to the pool of possible random BPs. Also, Bronze Age cities typically have Bronze Age neighboring cities with maybe a few Iron Age cities in the mix. An Iron Age city's neighbors will range from Bronze through to Early Middle Ages, as neighbors shift as one goes up in ages.

Welcome to our ninth installment of our Forge of Empires Starting Guides. Today, in part nine, we will be taking a look at Cottages and Iron Age Goods! In the previous 8th guide of this series, we have advanced to the Iron Age. With each new age, two topics become relevant. The first is to increase population.
In the Bronze Age, slings were first used by herders to protect their flocks. Eventually they were used in warfare, being one of the first ranged weapons. Slingers could fire 10 stones in a minute, and while accuracy was medicore, it was used until arrows were introduced. The great range that slings had surpassed even the bow and arrow.
As for what unit to use in HMA, either; a) 1x Heavy Inf + 7x Rogues vs. any encounter w/out enemy trebs. b) 8x trebs vs. any encounter w/1-4 trebs & 0 knights. c) 1x Knight + 7x Rogues vs. any combo of 0-4 xbow/knights + 4-8 trebs.
Nov 4, 2021. #3. Presuming you have access to a 1.9 thread, to achieve an incremental 10% in attack it will cost about 5000fps for Zeus, or about 5500 for CoA, or about 6000 for CdM. Not considering the cost of the goods, taking a TA to level 5 will get you the 10% attack increase at a cost of about 1000fps.
